<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which has a function of transmitting image data, via a network and enables a user to confirm the image that are probably printed out on a printer at a transmission destination, prior to the transmission of image data that are to be transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: The digital multifunction machine has an LCD for displaying an image. The digital composite machine converts the image data to be transmitted into image data α, represented by a YCrCb colorimetric system (S12). The image data α, after the conversion have been converted into image data β by using a conversion table (S15). The conversion table contains information; showing the correspondence relation between colors of the YCrCb colorimetric system and colors of an image reproduced, when it is actually printed out on the printer, at the transmission destination.
