PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus for managing one and the same information unitarily and enabling a user to easily acquire information, an information acquiring method and an information acquisition program. SOLUTION: An information holding unit 140 comprises a plurality of pieces of information and holds each of the plurality of pieces of information in the information processing apparatus or in a system including the information processing apparatus without duplicating the information, a correspondence view holding unit 120 holds requested information being a portion of information stored in the information holding unit 140 and a view name for identifying a viewer acquiring the requested information from the information holding unit 140 while associating the requested information with the view name, a view holding unit 150 stores views that correspond to respective view names, a request receiving unit 102 receives requested information input by a user, acquires a view name corresponding to the requested information from the correspondence view holding unit 120, reads a view corresponding to the view name from the view holding unit 150 and executing the view to thereby acquire the requested information from the information holding unit 140.
