PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems caused by jumboizing a motor for lifting by driving a plurality of small capacity motors of a relatively small size instead of using a large capacity motor (large motor). SOLUTION: The stacker crane travels on a track L provided along storing shelves with multi-stages and delivers loads to and from the respective storing shelves by moving up and down a lifting part 4 for storing the loads and is provided with a pair of servo motors 5A, 5B, respectively provided at a front side and a rear side in its travelling direction, for respectively driving the lifting part, a communication part 8 for receiving a conveyance instruction from a ground station and a control part 7 for controlling the respective servo motors 5A, 5B based on the conveyance instruction received by the communication part 8.
