PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating clarification apparatus of contaminated soil which can suitably heat and clarify even the contaminated soil containing dioxins, etc. SOLUTION: The heating clarification apparatus has a heat treatment kiln 1 in which a refractory material is applied to an inner peripheral wall, a stock bin 12 for temporally storing heated soil, an oxidation pyrolysis furnace 14 for making an exhaust gas of the heat treatment kiln 1 remain at a high temperature for a determined time, a cooling tower 18 and a bag filter 19. Then, the contaminated soil containing dioxins is heated at the high temperature of approximately 1,800°C in the heat treatment kiln 1 to be gasified by making dioxins vaporize and pyrolyze. Further, the soil heated to approximately 600°C is stored and aerated in the stock bin 12 so that remaining dioxins are gasified to be released. These gasified dioxins are heated and pyrolyzed in the oxidation pyrolysis furnace 14. The exhaust gas from the oxidation pyrolysis furnace 14 is quickly cooled in the cooling tower 18 to control redeposition of dioxins and fine content in the exhaust gas is removed in the bag filter 19.
