A BNBT-based piezoelectric ceramic is provided to form a single perovskite solid solution phase in which a pyrochlore phase doesn't exist, by adding CaO. Material powder of Bi2O3, Na2CO3, BaCO3, TiO2 and CaO of 0.01 weight percent is prepared to form a composition of (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3. A ball milling process and a dry process are performed on the material powder for a time interval of 24 hours by using zirconia ball and deionized water. After the dried material powder is classified into 100 mesh or less, a calcination process is performed at a temperature of 1115.8-1123K by using an alumina crucible. After the calcinated powder material is roughly ground in an alumina mortar, the calcinated powder material is wet-ground by using alcohol of 99.9 percent wherein a PVB(polyvinyl butyral co-vinyl) coupling agent is added 20 minutes before the grinding process is completed. After the ground powder material is heated, stirred and dried, the dried powder is classified into 80 mesh.
