<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver which attains a high-speed signal transmission and uses a non-contact interface utilizing an inductor coupling capable of reducing power consumption, and to provide a semiconductor device with the receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver comprises: a first current source and a second current source connected to both terminals of a reception inductor; and a signal receiving circuit of which an input terminal is connected to both the terminals of the reception inductor and which detects an induced current generated in the reception inductor and reproduces data transmitted in accordance with a direction of the induced current flowing to the reception inductor. The semiconductor device includes: a transmission inductor under inductor coupling with the reception inductor; a transmitter which causes a current to flow in a direction corresponding to a polarity of data to the transmission inductor each time a clock used for transmitting data rises or falls; and the receiver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
