<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting device in which deterioration of brightness can be suppressed even when a gap is installed between a light source and a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: On the surface light-emitting device 100 equipped with the light guide plate 10 having the light source 20, a light incident face 11 into which the light from the light source 20 is made incident, and a light-emitting face 12 from which the light made incident through the incident face 11 is emitted, and a substrate 30 which supports the light source 20 and in which the end part of the incident face 11 side of the light guide plate 10 is superposed, out of the substrate 30, the surface of a portion under the gap between the light source 20 and the light incident face 11 is white in color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
