<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for optical cable connection, improving handling efficiency of a coated optical fiber by exerting a bending characteristic of a holey optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The closure for optical cable connection is characterized in that a plurality of coated optical fiber connection housings 302 comprising a connection housing section 302c for housing a connection part 315 of coated optical fibers and an excessive length housing sections 302a, 302b for housing an excessive length of the coated optical fibers, are arranged, and the connection housing section 302c and the excessive length housing sections 302a, 302b are each formed in a columnar shape, and that the excessive length housing sections 302a, 302b are arranged on both sides of and coaxially with the connection housing section 302c so as to be freely rotatable to the connection housing section 302c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
