<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive system controller for a four-wheel drive vehicle restraining a drive wheel torque from increasing abruptly, even when an engine output torque increases abruptly due to limitation of engine output control during travel, and restraining a drive slip and a skidding amount of a vehicle while enhancing vehicle stability. <P>SOLUTION: This drive system controller for the four-wheel drive vehicle provided with a front and rear wheel driving force distribution control system and a traction control system is provided with a limit control part for reducing a controlled variable of the engine output control by a driving condition of the vehicle to protect an exhaust system catalyst or for prohibiting the engine output control, in the traction control system, and a limitation control part for outputting a four-wheel driving command to switch a two-wheel drive state to a four-wheel drive state, to an actuator 17 of the front and rear wheel driving force distribution control system, when the slip is generated in the driving wheels, when an automatic transmission is in a range-fixed mode, when a two-wheel drive mode is selected and when the engine output control is impossible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
