<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of supporting force of a hydrodynamic bearing device in the thrusting direction by improving the wear resistance of a member facing a thrust bearing gap. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrodynamic bearing device comprises a housing 9 (a fixed-side member) injection-molded of a resin as an insert component for a thrust member 13 formed of a porous material, the thrust member 13 facing the thrust bearing gap T<SB>S</SB>. Thus, lubricating oil is gradually supplied from a surface hole opening portion of the thrust member 13 into the thrust bearing gap T<SB>S</SB>to improve lubricating performance. This prevents the wear of an upper end face 9a of the housing 9 to maintain the accuracy of the gap width of the thrust bearing gap T<SB>S</SB>, preventing the lowering of the supporting force in the thrusting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
