PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor reducing the costs and increasing the yield by disposing an image transmission module within the image sensor, and to provide the image transmission module. SOLUTION: The image sensor includes a light source, a light transmission device and a photo-detector 508. The image transmission module includes one or more lens arrays 504, 506 each for sending reflection light of an object to the photo-detector 508 after the object 502 is irradiated with light from the light source. Each of the lens arrays 504, 506 is composed of a plurality of lenses made of materials having the equal refraction index. The image transmission module further includes a baffle plate disposed at a side of the photo-detector 508 in the lens arrays 504, 506. Within the baffle plate, a plurality of partitions 518 are disposed for the lenses and a cross-talk phenomenon caused in the lens arrays 504, 506, is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
