PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounding method of a building capable of effectively restraining rise of a grounding potential at thunderbolt in a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the grounding method of a building for releasing thunder surge current to the ground at the time of thunderbolt, meshed grounding net 10 is installed directly under the building to be electrically connected with the building, a grounding rod is connected at least to the grounding net 10 directly under the building, the grounding rod is buried vertically in the ground, and the thunder surge current is three-dimensionally dispersed to restrain rise of the grounding potential. With this, rise of the grounding potential is greatly restrained even if the building is struck by lightning. Further, a length of the grounding rod may be 1.5 m. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
