PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device with emission life improved through prevention of flow of moisture from atmospheric air. SOLUTION: On a TFT substrate 2, an organic EL element separated with a pixel separation membrane 5 is arranged. The organic EL element includes a lower electrode 3, an upper common electrode 6, and an organic light-emitting part 4 between them. A sealing substrate 1 is provided with a transparent desiccant 7 absorbing moisture in a sealed space.
