PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control a refrigerant liquid level of a liquid receiver in a refrigerating device wherein a compressor, a radiator, a first expansion valve, the liquid receiver, a second expansion valve and an evaporator are connected in order. SOLUTION: The refrigerating devices 1 and 101 are provided with a compression mechanism 11, the radiator 13, a first expansion mechanism 15, the liquid receiver 16, second expansion mechanisms 17, 33a and 33b, the evaporators 31, 31a and 31b, a pressure detecting part 21, a temperature detecting part 22, and a control part 23. The pressure detecting part is disposed between a refrigerant out-flow side of the compression mechanism and a refrigerant in-flow side of the first expansion mechanism. The temperature detecting part is disposed between an outlet side of the radiator and the refrigerant in-flow side of the first expansion mechanism. The control part controls the first expansion mechanism with the usage of a pressure detected by the pressure detecting part and a temperature detected by the temperature detecting part so that the refrigerant flowing out of the first expansion mechanism is saturated.
