PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy for detecting an air flow rate with an air flow rate detector by reducing a detection error cause by a resolution for A/D converting an output voltage of the air flow rate detector. SOLUTION: An optimum amplification factor is found according to a condition of an internal combustion engine. By changing the amplification factor of an amplifier, an error caused by an A/D resolution when outputs of the air flow rate detector are A/D converted and taken in a computing device is reduced.
