PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation lever for a vehicle seat in which a hand of a user is not pulled when the operation lever is operated to release the lock and a seat back is fallen to a front side of the vehicle. SOLUTION: In the operation lever for the vehicle seat provided on a back surface of a retractable seat including a seat cushion 2 and a seat back 3 and releasing/operating the lock of the retractable seat 1, the operation lever 20 is provided with a first lever 30 and a second lever 40, and the first lever 30 and the second lever 40 are turnably pivotally supported at one end side in a longitudinal direction of both levers 30/40. They are foldably, turnably and pivotally supported at one end side in a longitudinal direction of both levers 30/40. The other end side in the longitudinal direction of the first lever 30 is turnably pivotally supported on the retractable seat 1 and is connected to a lock mechanism of the retractable seat at the portion.
