PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device for a vehicle making truly compatible both the acceleration of the vehicle and the thermal comfort of an occupant. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a demand degree detection means S304 detecting a degree of a demand for the acceleration of the vehicle, an evaporator temperature detection means S301 detecting a temperature of an evaporator at the acceleration start of the vehicle, a cooling capacity selection means S309 selecting a degree of a cooling capacity during the acceleration of the vehicle based on the degree of the demand for the acceleration of the vehicle and the temperature of the evaporator, and a capacity control signal output means S313 outputting an external signal to a compressor based on the selected degree of the cooling capacity.
