PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which is proof against inconveniences such as curling and defective stacking of recording paper even if gloss paper is employed as the recording paper, which is slow in ink drying due to a surface coating resistant to ink penetration therein, and easily undergoes corrugation and curling on a surface of a sheet during printing. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the image recording device, even if the gloss paper is employed as the recording paper P that easily undergoes corrugation and curling, the recording paper is guided immediately after discharge from a paper discharge roller 7 by a curl correction auxiliary tray 9, and a front end of the recording paper slides on the curl correction auxiliary tray 9, whereby the sliding on the same functions as resistance to the curling. After reaching a paper discharge tray 8, the recording paper is continuously guided without being curled, and then discharged onto the paper discharge tray 8 to be stacked on the same.
