PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting glass tiles capable of cutting the glass tiles in good efficiency. SOLUTION: The glass tile 1 has a plate-shaped tile base part 2 and a glass sheet-like glass part 3 fused onto the surface of the tile base part 2. This glass tile 1 is formed by superposing a sheet glass on the tile base part 2 and baking them at a temperature higher than the softening temperature but lower than the melting point of the sheet glass to fuse the glass part 3 onto the tile 2. A score 4 is given onto the surface of the glass part 2 of the glass tile 1 along a planed cutting part. On the rear surface of the tile base part 2, a groove 6 is formed along the planed cutting part by using a disk sander 7. This groove 6 is made to have a depth halfway in the width direction of the tile base part 2 so as not to reach the glass part 3. The glass tile 1 given the score 4 and the groove 6, is set to a hand cutter 10 being used for pushing and cracking tiles, to be pushed and cracked at the planed cutting part.
