<p>A computer system is provided to protect data stored in a hard disk by moving a hard disk head not giving damage to a platter surface when an external impact over a critical value is applied. A computer system(100) includes a pressure sensor(110), a storage unit(120), a hard disk drive(130) and a controller(140). The pressure sensor senses pressure applied to the computer system and outputs a sensing value. The storage unit stores an initial value which represents the stable state of the pressure sensor. The hard disk drive includes a platter and a head for reading data of the platter. The controller compares the sensing value with the initial value and controls the hard disk drive to be protected when the sensing value is deviated from the initial value by a predetermined range.</p> |
