<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing in high productivity and high accuracy an electrode plate for a tabless type electrode group making high rate discharge possible in a lithium secondary battery; and to provide a manufacturing device capable of truly embodying the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A belt-shaped substrate 1 made of metal foil is transferred in the up and down direction, slit-shaped exhaust ports of a plurality of exhaust nozzles 4 are arranged in a prescribed pitch in the width direction of the substrate 1, and a pair of nozzles 4 facing each other on both sides of the substrate 1 is positioned so as to coincide with each other. Active material paint 2 is exhausted from each exhaust nozzle 4, stripe-shaped coating patterns between which two or more active material layer forming parts 12 are positioned through an active material noncoated part 13 are simultaneously formed on the both sides of the substrate 1. The substrate 1 is cut in a prescribed pitch in the length direction, and the active material noncoated part 13 is cut in a cutting line in the length direction to separate in each of electrode plates 17, 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
