<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickening composition which can quickly express predetermined viscosity and shorten working hours of consumers to a large extent by adding a little amount to a water-containing objective material without lumping like conventional powders, as solely the surface of the xanthan gum dissolves and the inner part remains in a powdery state, so called in a state of "lump", when general consumers and the like use the xanthan gum in foods and the like, and the xanthan gum in the state of "lump" is insufficiently hydrated and is easily in a state in which its function is not expressed. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by bringing the surface of the xanthan gum to contain a xanthan gum to which an arginate and/or a CMC is bonded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
