<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitter for transmitting a data signal and a clock signal by a spread spectrum communication scheme, and capable of suppressing or reducing jitter occurrence in high-speed transmission of the signal. <P>SOLUTION: The signal transmitter for transmitting a spread spectrum data signal and a spread spectrum clock signal comprises a data signal transmission path 3 and a clock signal transmission path 4 connecting a transmitting unit 1 and a receiving unit 2 and a SAW filter 5 of a resonator version arranged at the clock signal transmission path. The SAW filter comprises a piezoelectric substrate made of lithium tantalite or lithium niobate of volume resistivity 10<SP>6</SP>-10<SP>13</SP>Ω cm and an IDT formed on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate. According to the arrangement, the transmitter also comprises functions for stabilizing operation of an integrated circuit (IC) arranged at a prestage and a poststage of the transmission path and neutralizing static electricity generated from the integrated circuit (IC) etc. at the prestage or the poststage of the transmission path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
