<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a particularly high adjusting quality and a spray grade having an extremely small fuel droplet, by acquiring a fine spray of fuel in a simple form, by improving a fuel injection valve designed so as to perform the fuel inflow of an injection opening at a substantially right angle to the longitudinal extending direction of the injection opening, by arranging an inflow opening on the just upstream side of the injection opening, by arranging the axis in the valve longitudinal direction, a valve seat body having an immovable valve seat, a valve closing body cooperating with the valve seat and movable in the axial direction along the axis in the valve longitudinal direction, and a nozzle port plate arranged on the downstream side of the valve seat and having a plurality of injection openings. <P>SOLUTION: The injection opening 25 is composed of mutually asymmetrically extending two divisions. A downstream side lower side division has an opening width larger than an opening width of an upstream side upper side division. A lower side dislocation quantity of the downstream side division to the upstream side division on the fuel inflow side, is set larger than a lower side dislocation quantity on the opposed side of the injection opening 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
