<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter control device which enables PWM voltage application following a command value, and can improve the performance of an output voltage and a current waveform, and to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter device comprises: a first reactor connected to the positive electrode end of a DC power supply; a second reactor connected to the negative electrode end of the DC power supply; a first capacitor connected between the input end of the first reactor and the output end of the second reactor; a boosting circuit constituted by comprising a second capacitor connected between the output end of the first reactor and the input end of the second reactor; and the inverter device comprising an inverter circuit of a plurality of phases connected to the output side of the boosting circuit. In the inverter device, a short-circuit period which is a period for short-circuiting one of the phases of the inverter circuit is set on the basis of the pulse width of pulse width modulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
