<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting apparatus, capable of displaying communication abnormality when a communication abnormality occurs in a signal from a high-order apparatus and a lighting equipment control monitoring system provided with the lighting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge lamp lighting apparatus DOC is provided with a lighting circuit part OC including an invertor and lighting a discharge lamp, a communication circuit part COM for carrying out communication with the higher order apparatus GW installed outside and making detection, when the signal from the higher-order apparatus cannot be received normally; and a control means CC controlling the lighting circuit part and switching the lighting state of the discharge lamp DL to a communication abnormal display mode by controlling the lighting circuit part, when the communication abnormality is detected by the communication circuit part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
