<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display whose display defect is suppressed by preventing generation of a bubble due to touch of an inspection probe. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating film comprising a gate insulating film GI and a passivation film PAS is formed on an upper layer of a gate wiring GL and a wiring inspection terminal GL-P to be a wide width part. The insulating film is removed and a dent DNT wherein a part of the upper surface of the wiring inspection terminal GL-P is exposed is formed at a part of the upper layer of the wiring inspection terminal GL-P. A transparent conductive film TCF for which an ITO is suitable is formed in an upper layer of the insulating film consisting of the gate insulating film GI and the passivation film PAS including the dent on the upper surface of the wiring inspection terminal GL-P. The transparent conductive film TCF is electrically connected to the wiring inspection terminal GL-P through the dent DNT and extended to the upper layer of the gate insulating film GI and the passivation film PAS on the side opposite to the scanning line GL of the wiring inspection terminal GL-P and disconnection inspection is performed using the extended part as a contact part of the inspection probe PB. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
