PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a plurality of parameters of a digital mixer with one knob whose axial movement (depression state) can be detected as well as its rotating direction, and to control so that unintended change in the parameters is hardly caused when a user mistakes the operation in a depression state. SOLUTION: A filter controller can select a filter type such as a band-pass filter or low-pass filter for a band whose frequency characteristics are to be adjusted. Here, when the band-pass filter is selected, the Q value knob 202 normally adjusts a Q value of the band-pass filter regardless of whether the knob is pressed or not. When, however, the Q value knob 20 is pressed and then rotate clockwise after the Q value reaches an extreme (maximum), the filter type is changed to the low-pass filter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
