PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor pile which is light but retains a sufficient anchoring force as an anchor that is used on a soft ground, such as sand beach, seabed, marshland, etc., and can be used repeatedly. SOLUTION: The anchor pile includes a plate 10 having a pointed front end, ring-attached strings 11 and 12 that are fitted to the vicinity of the center and of the rear end of the plate 10, respectively, and a rod 17 fitted removably to the rear end of the plate 10. The plate 10 is fixed to the front end of the rod 17, and is driven into the ground, and then an object to be anchored is locked to a first ring 13 after pulling out the rod 17. The anchor pile has a point of application of force resulting near the center of the plate 10, thus produces no moment. As a result, the whole surface of the plate 10 receives bearing power of soil to offer a stable, large anchoring force. When the plate 10 is pulled out, a second ring 14 is pulled to cause the plate 10 to change its position along a direction of pulling to be pulled out without resistance.
