PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the shape of a printer apparatus for printing a colored image by circulating and conveying a recording paper and printing a plurality of printing colors one upon another. SOLUTION: A storing part 6 for a ribbon cassette 50 holding a multi-color ink ribbon 60 is provided in a printer case body 1 composed of a printer main body 2 and a main body cover 3. Under a condition that the ribbon cassette 50 is mounted in the storing part 6, an annular conveying path 12 is formed in a gap between the ribbon cassette 50 and the inner wall of the storing part 6. Conveying rollers 10a, 10b, 11a and 11b for circulating and conveying the recording paper 30 along this conveying path 12 are provided, and a thermal head 7 is arranged on the inside of the conveying path 12. On every time when the thermal head 7 is driven and the recording paper 30 is circulated and conveyed on the conveying path 12, the recording paper is successively printed one upon another with inks of different printing colors of the multi-color ink ribbon 60 held in the ribbon cassette 50.
