PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a bed for seaweeds at low cost, without causing the tidal current of costal water body to change, and further, which is capable of reducing the risk of encountering feeding damages. SOLUTION: The method for constructing bed for seaweeds includes processes, wherein the pores of sea algae 30 are put to taking root on string members or yarn members 11 and sprouted into juvenile forms 31. The string members or yarn members 11, having the thus sprouted juvenile forms 31, are made to adhere to woodchips 12, and the juvenile forms 31 are grown into intermediates 32, which are then made to anchor to natural stones 13; and the resulting natural stones 13 are made to sink into and set in a desired coastal water body; and the intermediates 32 anchored to the natural stones 13 that are made to sink and set are made to grow into mature forms 33.
