<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer type image protective film for improving lightfastness. <P>SOLUTION: A heat transfer type image protective layer is provided on a substrate through a non-transfer type releasing layer, and an adhesive layer is provided on this image protective layer. When heat transfer is performed, the image protective layer and the adhesive layer are released from the substrate, and the image protective layer is stuck on an image on a medium to be recorded through the adhesive layer.
