<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of solving a problem that a great deal of cost is required because a hub wheel is formed by forging. <P>SOLUTION: This bearing device for the wheel has a bearing outer ring 10 having an outer race 12 at the inner periphery and a flange 14 attached to a vehicle body at the outer periphery, a bearing inner ring 20 having an inner race 22 at the outer periphery, a rolling element 30 provided between the outer race 12 of the bearing outer ring 10 and the inner race 22 of the bearing inner ring 20, the hub wheel 40 having flange parts 44, 54 for attaching wheel discs and fitted into the bearing inner ring 20, and an outer side joint member 70 fitted into the hub wheel 40. The hub wheel 40 is composed of a first member 40A composed of a cylindrical part 42 and the flange part 44 and a disc-like second member 40B using the outer periphery as the flange part 54. A hub bolt 60 is press-fitted into the flange parts 44, 54 of the first member 40A and the second member 40B in common to integrate both the members.
