<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire subcontents with respect to various objects contained in video contents. <P>SOLUTION: A content providing server 10 extracts objects from the video contents read from a database 12, generates coordinate region time series data of an object, multiplexes subcontent specification information that specifies the coordinates region time series data and the subcontents to the data of the video contents, and transmits it to a client terminal 16. If an object is specified in the video contents displayed by the client terminal 16, the information is transmitted to the content providing server 10.
