PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maximum generation load of an electromagnetic suspension device and satisfy properties for mounting on a vehicle.

SOLUTION: The electromagnetic suspension device is provided with one member 1 and another member 2 moving relatively to one member 1, and a motor M having three phase winding in a stator capable of inhibiting at least the relative motion, and is provided with a control means capable of increasing maximum amplitude of waveform of voltage between each phase of the three phase winding 12 to power source voltage.
