摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of discharge inside an image display apparatus, by making no leakage to occur in vacuum, and by preventing surface charge in an electron source array substrate surface. <P>SOLUTION: A power feeding electrode in an electron discharge electrode is provided with a step structure for cutting and separating the electron discharge electrode into each power feeding electrode, in regions which are narrower than an outer periphery of a frame glass and wider than an inner periphery of the frame glass. Furthermore, the electron discharge electrode is selectively deposited in a region which is narrower than in the region with the step structure and in a region which is wider than the inner periphery of the frame glass. Alternatively, the electron discharge electrode is selectively deposited in the region which is narrower than the region with the step structure and in the region wider than the electrode that applies a high voltage to a fluorescent surface facing it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
