<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RFID tag and a manufacturing method therefor, in which it is not required to form an opening on a patch antenna or supply an electric power to the patch antenna in a DC mode. <P>SOLUTION: In the RFID tag having a tag antenna and an LSI chip, the RFID tag comprises a linear antenna with a predetermined line-width on which LSI chip is mounted, a patch antenna that functions as the tag antenna, and a high-frequency connection section that makes a high-frequency connection between the linear antenna and the patch antenna. The high-frequency connection section is formed, for example, by forming a slot in the patch antenna and layering one end of a minute dipole antenna that functions as a linear antenna over the slot so that it crosses over the slot, and an electric power is supplied from the minute dipole antenna to the patch antenna. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
