<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and productivity of a power unit including an engine and a transfer axle. <P>SOLUTION: This power unit is provided with an engine 2 which operates as a drive sources for a vehicle, the transaxle 3 connected to drive wheels, a continuously variable transmission (power transmission device) 4 connected between the engine 2 and the transaxle 3 and transmitting rotary power output from the engine 2 to the transaxle 3, and a base plate 5 fixed on the engine 2 and the transaxle 3 under a condition where the same covers bottom surfaces of both of the engine 2 and the transaxle 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
