PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orbit estimation method and a device therefor dispensing with a new transmitter/receiver by using a radio wave reaching a moving body from an installed transmission station. SOLUTION: In this orbit estimation method, radio waves are transmitted simultaneously from a plurality of transmission stations to a plurality of moving bodies, and radio waves relayed and transmitted by relays loaded on the moving bodies are received by two reception stations, and a difference of arrival times and a difference of Doppler frequencies relative to the moving bodies are detected from the received radio waves, and when transmission stations capable of acquiring the differences of arrival times and the differences of Doppler frequencies more than unknown variables showing each orbit of the plurality of moving bodies exist, each orbit of the moving bodies is estimated directly from the acquired differences of arrival times and differences of Doppler frequencies.
