PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless terminal capable of saving electric power by storing a state wherein the mobile wireless terminal is within the zone of a wireless LAN by monitoring the RSSI of a mobile phone network. SOLUTION: A wireless LAN control unit 7 scans a wireless LAN access point, and registers the place of an access point as a threshold of reception signal intensity for a plurality of adjacent mobile phone base stations of cellular communication when detecting the access point. After the registration is once performed, the wireless LAN control unit 7 considers that the mobile wireless terminal is outside the zone of the wireless LAN access point when the registered threshold of reception signal intensity for the adjacent mobile phone base stations is not reached, and does not scan an access point at all.
