PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver that, in spite of a low dimensional accuracy of the folder of an optical demultiplexing/multiplexing unit, is capable of accurately arranging a wavelength selective filter on the inner wall face of this folder. SOLUTION: In the folder 54 of the optical transceiver 41, there are mounted a block 55 that holds a plurality of wavelength selective filters 56 for demultiplexing or multiplexing a plurality of optical signals having different wavelengths fro one another in accordance with a wavelength, and optical sub-assemblies on which an LD or a PD is loaded. In this folder 54, a space 54b through which a plurality of optical signal light beams pass is secured. The block 55 is arranged so that each of the wavelength selective filters 56 is optically coupled to one of the optical sub-assemblies via the space of the folder 54. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
