PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove horizontal line noise by performing correction coupled with the difference of influence on a pixel output by the shake of a power source, etc., between an OB part and an effective part. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging area having a photoelectric converting part with light-shielding and a photoelectric converting part without light-shielding; and a correction means for obtaining a correction value by correcting a signal from the photoelectric converting part with light-shielding through the use of a correction coefficient, so as to correct a signal from the corresponding photoelectric converting part without light-shielding.
