PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a display unit on a plane, such as a desk, at an easy-to-view angle and in a stable state, when viewing television broadcasting while first and second casings are folded by directing the display section to the outside. SOLUTION: A portable terminal comprises: the first casing 110 having the display unit 111; a second casing 120 having an operation unit; a first connection unit capable of folding the first casing 110 and the second casing 120; and a second connection unit for rotating the first casing 110 with the center axis in the longitudinal direction of the first casing 110 as a center. The rotary axis of the second connection section is provided at a position shifted to the outside by a prescribed amount relative to a center line for connecting the center points of the short sides of the first casing. While the display unit 111 of the first casing 110 is being directed to the outside, the first casing 110 overlaps with the second casing 120 while they deviate each other, when the first casing 110 and the second casing 120 are folded via the first connection section.
