PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable operation of a bus driver circuit by detecting an external driving device on one bus side for latch-up protection, while achieving pull-down sufficiently low on the other bus side. SOLUTION: A bus driver circuit has a first and a second driving detection circuits (bus interfaces 1 and 3) which include driving parts (driving transistors M1m or M1s) respectively and detect either a relation between voltage threshold value and potential of a bus M or bus S and a relation between current threshold value and a driving current Im or Is flowing in an internal driving part, and a control circuit 2. The control circuit 2 controls a bus S driving transistor M1s on the basis of bus potential detection and driving current detection of the bus interface 1 and controls a bus M driving transistor M1m on the basis of the result of bus potential detection and driving current detection of the bus interface 3.
