PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system 10 capable of suppressing deterioration in communication quality in communication based on a mobile IP. SOLUTION: In the wireless LAN system 10, an AP 20 having a home agent function when its own load becomes equal to prescribed value or larger, inquires another AP 20 about load situations, and causes the AP 20 whose load is lower than the prescribed value to take over repeating of communication via a foreign agent.
