PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistant austenitic alloy having higher stress corrosion crack propagation resistance, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The corrosion resistant austenitic alloy constituted so that an austenitic alloy is subjected to cold working exceeding 30% and heating treatment, so as to form twin boundaries in austenite crystal grains, and further, precipitates are dispersedly formed on the austenite grain boundaries and/or twin boundaries, is used.
