PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for water sliding having further excellent hypochlorous acid resistance and excellent productivity than those of conventional materials and to provide a method for producing the sealing material. SOLUTION: The sealing material for water sliding is formed from a composition containing an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer having a constituent unit derived from ethylene and a constituent unit derived from 1-butene and cross-linked by radiation.
