An animation system for preventing oral diseases, and a method of controlling the same are provided to give pleasure for tooth brushing to kids, and to promote a correcting effect of kids' tooth brushing habits by drawing their interest. An animation system for preventing oral diseases includes a display part(100) for displaying images about tooth brushing, and a toothbrush(200) having a remote control(21) for controlling the display part. The display part comprises a receiving part for receiving signals, a power part for generating an operation signal of the display part, a storage part for storing the images, a control part for transferring the signal to the power part, storing the images in a storage part, and selectively extracting the images, a showing part for showing the images, an interface part, an image photographing part, an image analyzing part, a gyro sensor, and an A/D converter. The toothbrush has a brush part and a handle part.
