A table drilling machine having a safety apparatus is provided to cut off power with a limit switch and stop the drive shaft of a motor interlocking with a drill chuck using a magnetic brake when an accident happens. A table drilling machine having a safety apparatus comprises a base(2), a main body(5), a drive motor(6), a drill chuck(7), a power transmission(8), a lever(9), a returning unit(10), a limit switch(11), and a magnetic brake(12). The main body stands on the base. The power transmission connects a drive shaft(6') of the drive motor installed at one part of the main body with a main shaft(7') of the drill chuck provided with a tool(7a). The drill chuck is moved down by the lever, and moved up by the returning unit when the lever is released. The limit switch is attached to the main body adjacent to the drill chuck so as to control the drive motor and a magnetic brake by supplying power according to vertical movement of the drill chuck. The magnetic brake is attached to one part of the main body to control rotation of the drive shaft of the drive motor according to a signal output by the limit switch.
