<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometrics system and a method considering operability of a user while securing high security in building a transaction system requiring no card. <P>SOLUTION: Individual IDs, finger vein information, and card information are previously registered in a database of a server. An ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) makes the user input his/her individual ID or insert his/her card in transaction, and transmits the acquired information to a server. The server transmits biological information corresponding to the received individual ID or card information to the ATM. The ATM performs biometrics by collating the received biological information with the biological information acquired in a finger vein unit, and executes transaction processing if the biometrics is success. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
